Raila Odinga Son, Fidel, To Marry Eritrean Sweetheart On July 28

JACKAL NEWS - The son of Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Fidel Odinga, is due to marry his Eritrean sweetheart after his seemingly political marriage to his Kikuyu girlfriend irretrievably collapsed a few months ago, sources told the Jackal News.

Fidel will marry twenty-something Lwam Bekele on 28 July at a ceremony to be held at the Greek Orthodox Church in Nairobi, where the son of Odinga was baptised a few weeks ago.
''The reception for the wedding will be held at the Lion Club in Loresho Nairobi,'' a source who has received an invitation card to the wedding told Jackal News. Lwam Bekele's father is of Ethiopian origin. He is a civil engineer cum business man with interests in Kenya, Uganda and South Sudan.
The marriage will be Fidel's second, after his earlier with Veronica Wanjiru Ng’ang’a. The marriage collapsed amid allegations that the wedding in 2007 was political, with Odinga seeking to show that he was a national leader; his son marrying a Kikuyu girl.
